About the artist: Baden Lloyd is a talented scrap metal artist and sculptor, celebrated for his innovative use of corrugated iron and the revitalization of farming tools, equipment, and discarded metal materials. Growing up in the mallee region of South Australia, and Adelaide. His artistic journey began with various mediums, but it was during the renovation of his backyard and the construction of a pergola that he discovered his true calling. A custom Jack Daniels sign made from salvaged corrugated iron sheets from his old chook shed walls sparked his passion for recycling materials, sharing their history, and giving them new life. Baden’s creations evolved into larger pieces incorporating a range of salvaged metals, fulfilling his purpose of bringing happiness and love through his art. In 2021 he could turn his hobby into a fulfilling lifestyle. As his collection of scrap metal and workshop outgrew his family home, moving to an industrial shed in Lonsdale, establishing a gallery/workshop to exhibit his creations. Driven by a deep-seated passion and the belief that his art brings joy to others. Baden feels most connected to the world when creating his wonderful art and providing enjoyment through his creations.
