Your Fringe soundtrack starts with Gigs @ Gluttony

As the lights flick on across the parklands, the hum of Gluttony turns up a notch. Drinks are pouring, conversations become louder, and dance floors begin to fill as the night switches from laidback Fringe hopping to a festival party under the stars. That’s the sweet spot Gigs @ Gluttony has carved out over the past few Fringe seasons, and in 2026, its program is bigger and better than ever before.
Taking over your weekends in 2026 from 19 February to 22 March, Gigs @ Gluttony – presented by Pirate Life – returns to Adelaide Fringe, bringing together a stack of one-night-only performances from local faves, international heavyweights, cult bands, and DJs who know exactly how to throw a party.
Held primarily in Gluttony’s open-air music venue, The Fantail, this year the program expands with shows also held at The May Wirth and Tandanya Theatre – Australia's leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander multi-arts and cultural venue – marking a new chapter in Gluttony’s live music story.

From outdoor theatre to open-air music venue
Gigs @ Gluttony didn’t start as some big master plan; it grew organically from how the space was used and the audience's response. As Gluttony expanded during the pandemic, with the council allowing for more space, new outdoor venues emerged, and The Fantail took on a life of its own.
“I’ve always wanted to do a music stage in Gluttony,” says Gluttony co-director Daniel Michael. “Once we looked at how the large outdoor stage played, we realised we hadn’t made an outdoor theatre so much as an outdoor music space. Music fans loved it.”
What started with a handful of shows quickly grew into a weekend fixture, then expanded to Sunday arvos, weeknights, and eventually into the full Gigs @ Gluttony program that audiences now build their Fringe calendar around.
Today, it feels less like a pop-up stage and more like the park’s own outdoor concert venue – with its own bar, seating to kick back in, and a spacious dancefloor made for gettin’ your groove on.

A lineup as diverse as Fringe itself
Rather than sticking to a specific genre or crowd, the 2026 Gigs @ Gluttony program reflects the wider Fringe ecosystem, this year leaning more into live bands, alongside a strong run of international and Australian DJs.
“Gigs @ Gluttony has such a wide range of music,” Michael says. “Apart from the DJs, we have country music, indie rock, cover bands, pop — it’s a broad program, just like the greater Fringe is, and perfect for anyone who loves live music and having a dance.”
This approach plays out across the calendar, with afternoons that ease into late nights, evenings where plans are loose, or a high-energy party vibe for your weekend.
