Free experiences to discover at Gluttony

Quentin Kenihan Inclusive Playspace

Fringe season can fill up your calendar quickly (and your ticket wallet), but the good news is you don't need a full run of show bookings to enjoy a day or night at Gluttony. Along with free entry to the park and the diverse program of performances on offer in 2026, there's plenty happening beyond the stages that doesn't require you to reach into your purse, such as live music drifting across the lake, art installations scattered throughout, and spaces designed simply for hanging out and soaking up the one-of-a-kind festival atmosphere.

Think of these free experiences as the bonus track of your Fringe visit, with each designed to add an extra layer to your Gluttony adventure.

Gluttony Sculpture Walk

Gluttony Sculpture Walk

New in 2026, the Gluttony Sculpture Walk brings large-scale visual art into the heart of Murlawirrapurka/Rymill Park, transforming the grounds into an open-air gallery during the Fringe season. As you wander between shows, bars, and food stalls, you'll stumble upon bold, thought-provoking, joy-sparking installations dotted throughout the park.

The walk is free and completely self-guided, so you can explore at your own pace, learn more about each artist, and even vote for your favourite piece in the Foodland's People's Choice Awards via the QR codes found beside each sculpture.

Wander through the park

One of the easiest (and often most fun) ways to experience Gluttony? Just take a stroll and absorb all the festival fun happening around you. Follow the lights throughout the park, take a slow lap around the lake, catch the smell of something delicious from a nearby food stall, or grab a seat and enjoy a little people-watching as crowds head to their next show.
