Champagne Island Events
The hottest spot for indulgent events at Fringe
Back for 2026 and dialled all the way up, Champagne Island returns bigger, bolder, and bubblier, officially reclaiming its title as the most luxe spot in Gluttony. Sitting pretty on Rymill Park Lake and made for long afternoons, late nights, and very good champagne decisions, consider it the destination for pure Fringe indulgence – before, after, or in between shows.
With an expansive champagne list to be enjoyed by the bottle or glass – including a Moët & Chandon portfolio featuring the likes of Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, and Krug – as well as small-house Grand Cru Champagnes that know how to show off, Champagne Island welcomes both walk-ins and book-ahead experiences. Pull up a spot at the bar or grab a picnic rug to relax on the island lawns as you enjoy fresh South Australian seafood and international caviar, or if you'd like something a little more indulgent, reserve a private pier booth or explore our curated program of exclusive ticketed island events.
Proudly presented in collaboration with Moët Hennessy, Pursuit of Champagne, and Smelly Cheese Co, these next-level tasting experiences are designed for our more curious patrons and champagne aficionados, taking them on an epicurean journey through the terroirs of Champagne and Australian merroir. Think intimate masterclasses, guided tastings, and one last champagne-fuelled closing-night party, with each experience designed to be relaxed, generous, and distinctly Gluttony (extremely limited capacity; bookings are essential).
So, scroll on to see what's pouring on the island this season, and secure your spot for these ticketed experiences while you can – it's about to get bubbly!
